INTRODUCTION

The subject of this project concerns the building of the RAMADA Apartment House in the town of Bansko. It will be located in the foothills of the Pirin mountain, in immediate vicinity to the Glazne river, on the Glazne street – the busiest street in town, at a three-minute distance from the town’s historical center, and just two minutes away from the cable car and will be commanding a perfect view of the mountain. The RAMADA complex will have open space around, not suffocated by neighbouring buildings.Its front fa?ade will be overlooking the Glazne street, on one side will be flanked by the river, the other- by another street, and the southern side will be adjacent to a two-storey house.

Bansko is the oldest winter resort in Bulgaria, quiet, calm and protected from winds. Winters in Bankso almost always lasts longer (more than 75 days with minus temperatures) and with plenty of snow. The moderate continental climate and the great number of sunny days in winter time make the resort an attractive center for recreation and sports in any time of the year. Bansko is a departure point for high-mountainous hiking tours to enchanting spots of the Pirin mountain.
